

| Jacques Perron ing., P.Eng. Position: Director, President and Chief Executive Officer ![]() Jacques Perron obtained his B.Eng. in mining engineering at l'École Polytechnique in 1984 and held various engineering, operations and management level positions with Noranda Inc., J.S. Redpath Ltd, Cambior Inc, and Cameco Corporation. In 2004, he returned to Cambior Inc. as Vice President, Canada and was in charge of the Canadian assets including three gold mines and one niobium operation. Upon the acquisition of Cambior Inc. by Iamgold Corporation, Mr. Perron then assumed the role of Vice President of Operations America's. Mr. Perron has also been a director of Hunt Mining Corp since May 2010. | |
| Ben Au, CA Position: Chief Financial Officer, Vice-President Finance and Administration ![]() Ben Au joined the SAS team in June 2006. Prior to joining SAS, Mr. Au acted as the CFO and Corporate Secretary of China Diamond Corp. Mr. Au also held the position of Director of Internal Audit and Controller at Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited, from 1993 to 2004. Mr. Au earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree at Concordia University in 1982, and his professional accountant designation in 1988. | |
| Duncan Middlemiss P. Eng. Position: Chief Operating Officer and Vice-President of Operations ![]() Duncan Middlemiss joined the SAS team in July, 2008. Mr. Middlemiss obtained his B.Sc. in mining engineering at Queen's University in 1989 and worked for Inco Ltd. as Mine Design Engineer until 1995. In 1995 he joined Barrick Gold Corp. at the Holt-McDermott Mine and held the position of Chief Mine Engineer until 2002. He then joined Kirkland Lake Gold Inc. at their Kirkland Lake Operations, where he successively held the positions of Mine Engineering & Production Manager, and since 2007 the position of Mine Manager. Mr. Middlemiss is a resident of Kirkland Lake. | |
| Pierre Rocque, ing., P.Eng. Position: Vice-President of Engineering ![]() Pierre Rocque obtained his B.Eng. in mining engineering at l'École Polytechnique in 1987, and his M.Sc.Eng in mining engineering at Queen's University in 1992. Mr. Rocque held various engineering positions with a number of well known mining companies and consulting firms within the mining industry. He most recently held the position of Director of Technical Services with Lakeshore Gold Corp. prior to joining SAS in 2010. Mr. Rocque is also a seasonal lecturer at the University of Toronto's mining program. He is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario, the Order of Engineers of Quebec, a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, as well as a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. | |
| Doug Cater P.Geo. Position: Vice-President, Exploration Mr. Cater, joined SAS in June 2012 as Vice President of Exploration. Mr. Cater, a seasoned geologist with over 30 years of experience in the gold mining and exploration business, gained his experience working with senior Canadian based mining and exploration companies. He most recently held the position of Exploration Manager with Sabina Gold and Silver Corp., and prior to that, Dundee Precious Metals. He is currently a Council member of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario (APGO), representing the Southwest Ontario district. Mr. Cater is also a Director of Dia Bras Exploration, a mining and exploration company that operates in Peru and Mexico. | |
| Linda Weinzettl Position: Corporate Secretary ![]() Linda Weinzettl is a seasoned professional Law Clerk with considerable experience in corporate, commercial, and securities law. Ms. Weinzettl spent over 20 years as Law Clerk and Executive Assistant within the mining industry, working for many large law firms on Bay Street. She most recently held the position of Corporate/Securities Law Clerk with Wildeboer Dellelce LLP. | |
| Geoff Ramey CHRP, SHRP Position: Vice-President, Human Resources ![]() Geoff Ramey received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Labour Studies from McMaster University in 1996, and a Business Administration Diploma specializing in Human Resources, from the Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning in 1999. Mr. Ramey has worked as a Human Resources Professional across a variety of private and public companies in several different industry sectors. Notably, he spent several years at Xstrata (formerly Falconbridge) and was most recently a senior Human Resources Consultant supporting Yahoo! Canada. Mr. Ramey provides HR consultative services on a volunteer basis, and is a regular speaker at domestic and international seminars. Mr. Ramey holds the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and Senior Human Resources Professional (SHRP) designations, and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Human Resources Professionals Association. |
